Imposter Syndrome (or Internalized Self-Doubt) is a term that was first introduced by Stanford psychologist Dr. Pauline Clance and originally described the feelings of inadequacy that people with strong personalities have when they are exposed to situations that they are not familiar with and when they do not feel prepared for them.
