World Mental Health Month and Launch of the Resilience Club

World Mental Health Month helps to focus attention on the increasing importance of mental health as a route to achieving the World Health Organisation’s global development goals.

Mental Health has been added to the WHO’s Sustainable Development Goals.

“Mental health conditions can have a substantial effect on all areas of life, such as school or work performance, relationships with family and friends and ability to participate in the community.

Two of the most common mental health conditions, depression and anxiety, cost the global economy US$ 1 trillion each year.

Despite these figures, the global median of government health expenditure that goes to mental health is less than 2%”

World Mental Health Day October 10

 

World Mental Health Month helps to bring mental health out in the open and reduce the stigma or shame around these issues.  It is hoped that it will encourage those who are suffering to seek help.

As an expert in Energy Psychology I am very alarmed by the increase in problems brought on by Covid 19. Many people I speak to are either experiencing mental health issues themselves or know somebody who is suffering

Launch of the Resilience Club

I am launching a Resilience Club on 9th October just before World Mental health day on October 10th to support those who know they have a problem with anxiety. 

 

The costs are low so that people are encouraged to give it a try.  As part of my mission to support 1 million people to be resilient in the difficult times it is especially designed for those who would not normally consider therapy.

At the same time many of my clients had tried everything including therapy, and I want to give more people hope and encouragement that they can find peace and enjoy life.
